Nuit & Ciel ("we", "our", "us") is a two-person handmade jewellery studio in Türkiye. This policy explains the personal data we process through nuitciel.com, direct enquiries, and the Etsy orders we fulfil.
nuitciel.com does not take orders or payments. It is a catalogue: every piece links to its listing in our Etsy shop, and the order, the payment and the buyer's data are handled there under Etsy's own terms.

What we collect
We process information needed to answer you, fulfil an Etsy order, operate this catalogue, and meet our legal obligations.
When you place an order
Orders are placed on Etsy, not on this site. We can access the order information Etsy makes available to a seller for fulfilment and support, such as:
- Your buyer and delivery details
- The ordered item, order value, and messages connected with the order
- Delivery and support information created while we fulfil the order
- Payment-card details are processed by Etsy; this catalogue does not collect them
When you contact us
- The contact details and message content you choose to send by email, WhatsApp, Etsy, or social media
- Information needed to answer your enquiry or support an order
When you browse our site
- Technical request logs that our hosting provider may process for security and operation
- Your language, wishlist, and privacy choice saved in your browser's local storage

Browser storage and analytics
The catalogue uses local browser storage to remember your language, wishlist, and privacy choice. These preferences remain on your device. Google Analytics is optional: its script is not requested until you press Accept. If you press Decline, that choice is stored and analytics stays disabled on later visits. You can clear this site's browser data to reset the choice.
The current site build does not include advertising or remarketing tags. Etsy, Instagram, Pinterest, WhatsApp, and other destinations have their own privacy and cookie practices after you follow a link to them.
Your rights
Under Türkiye's KVKK (Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu) and, where applicable, the EU's GDPR, you may have the right to:
- Know what we hold about you
- Receive a copy
- Correct it if it's wrong
- Ask us to delete it (except where law requires us to keep certain records, such as invoices)

- File a complaint with the Turkish Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or your local EU authority

How long we keep it

Our catalogue and products are intended for adults. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us so we can review the request and take the action required by applicable law.
